Two State-of-the-Art Facilities to Serve Our Clients

Southern Worldwide Logistics is a U.S.-based public warehouse distribution firm founded in 1937 with two state-of-the-art warehouse facilities located in Houston, Texas and Orlando, Florida.  We are a third-party logistics provider, equipped to provide businesses with a wide array of product storage, packaging, handling and distribution services.  We routinely custom design warehouse service plans to fit our client's specific product storage, handling, distribution and marketing needs -- helping them better serve their customer base and achieve market share gains in the areas we commonly serve.

 

Our principal facility and headquarters are conveniently located near the Port of Houston, ranked first in the United States in foreign waterborne tonnage, second in the U.S. in total tonnage, and tenth in the world in total tonnage.  We are capable of transferring, shipping and receiving your products and supplies by truck, rail and ship.  Our Houston facility has direct access to rail and trucks.

 

Products we routinely warehouse and handle include paper products, electronics, appliances, resins, candy, food grade products, furniture, lumber products, roll paper, beverages, industrial and oil field equipment, health and beauty products, non-hazmat products and general merchandise.

 

Our newest location is in Central Florida, conveniently located near three major highways in Orlando, Florida.  The Orlando-Kissimmee MSA is Florida's third-largest metropolitan area and receives 48 to 50 million visitors per year.  Though known mostly for its tourist trade, the area's economy also depends heavily on its booming convention business.  Conventions and trade shows are among the many businesses in the area that depend on Southern's public warehouse and distribution services.
